 Visitors to Wellington Presbyterian Church are enjoying an audio visual system sophisticated enough to rival any hi-tech TV studio.
Lisburn-based company, Zest Audio Ltd has supplied and fitted the equipment, drawing on the team’s extensive experience in servicing churches across Ireland. The system at the Ballymena church however, has raised the bar in spectacular fashion. David Honeyford says: “Wellington Presbyterian budgeted more than double the norm for an advanced system and I would be confident in saying that this has no doubt made it the most hi-tech church in Ireland, capable of BBC broadcasting standard. They got a full sound system which is invisible in the auditorium as it has been installed as a centre-cluster design hidden behind an acoustic cloth on the front wall of the church. " “Two large screens were built into the wall for rear projection with full robotic cameras and a very advanced back of house production suite. The robotic cameras that were specified are so superior that they aren’t a UK-stock item and so we had to bring them in from the States.” Zest Audio is the only Northern Ireland firm to offer an island wide complete service from music control through to speaker installation and the company has worked on some of Ireland’s biggest bars, restaurants, retail units, show rooms, gyms, hotels and churches including Hilton Hotels, Topshop and Virgin Active Health Clubs.
